圣誕節(jié)前話計(jì)劃生育
下午，天轉(zhuǎn)晴，直升機(jī)又送走十名隊(duì)員上新站。我和小李送走他們后，回到了宿舍。我在想：何時(shí)才能讓我們倆上新站呢？
明天是圣誕節(jié)（Christmas Day），隊(duì)里已扎好圣誕樹，放在食堂里。午飯時(shí)，以圣誕樹為引子，福西先生和我們展開了一場爭論。
午飯時(shí)間到，我和小李步入食堂，福西先生與我們同行。當(dāng)我看到美麗的圣誕樹時(shí)，情不自禁地說：“Oh！
It is Christmas tree.”“Yes，tomorrow is the Christmas Day”福西先生高興地接下了我的話題，稍一停頓，他立即問：“How
about in China?”“No body remember the Christmas Day ，
probably.”我回答�！癉o you believe religion?”“No!”我很干脆地回答，“How
about Mr. Li?”“Same as me， I think”我替小李回答�！癗obody
believe religion in China really?”福西進(jìn)一步問我�！癡ery
few!”我進(jìn)一步補(bǔ)充說，“Every body can believe it， if
you want.”停了一會(huì)，福西突然話題一轉(zhuǎn)，說：“Your
government just allow one baby for a family. That is no good， I
think.”他的問題提得很突然，我只好反問他：“Why?”“It
goes against the doctrine of religion.”福西理直氣壯地說�！癐
do not know any religion doctrine，but I can not agree with you.
You know there are too many people now in China. If every family
can get babies as they want， it will be no place to keep life
for people in the future， which should be a big problem. Do you
think so?”我這樣反問福西，他稍停了一下，話題又轉(zhuǎn)：“In
China， everthing just decides by a few leaders. People only
follow them. And people do not know why need they do， how to
do”“I do not think so”沒等福西先生說完，我接下了他的話：“That
situation as you said has finished since 1979. Now， every thing
is changing very quickly. People， most of them， can know why
need they do and how to do. Maybe you should visite China.”“I
hope so!”福西笑了。我們結(jié)束了爭論，一道進(jìn)餐。
飯后，我想，國外的朋友對中國這幾年的變化確實(shí)不了解，他們還深深地保留著“文革”時(shí)代的印象。
下午五點(diǎn)，因準(zhǔn)備繼續(xù)飛行，甲板上堆著準(zhǔn)備運(yùn)走的東西，無處可打網(wǎng)球，我和小李準(zhǔn)備打網(wǎng)球的計(jì)劃只好作罷了。

哈得雷企鵝在休息 |
南極夏天的陽光照在船周圍的浮冰上，實(shí)在刺眼。一只哈得雷企鵝在船的西南側(cè)嬉戲，時(shí)而匍匐前進(jìn)，似乎是用腳趴在浮冰表面的雪上劃行，白白的肚子磨擦著雪面運(yùn)動(dòng)，時(shí)而站起來，扇動(dòng)著小小的翅膀，搖幌著肥胖的身軀，像卓別林大師走方步一樣移動(dòng)，真逗人喜愛！猛然間，想起小兒子前幾天來信上說的幾句話：“爸爸，南極的小企鵝很可愛，他們走路搖搖幌幌的樣子太讓我喜歡了，您多給我拍幾張企鵝的照片吧！”小兒子對企鵝的描述太準(zhǔn)確了。我舉起像機(jī)，用長鏡頭拍了幾張，這是專為小兒子拍的。
